- Sonic hand mixes each and every fountain drink you order so you never get a grossy mix of soda. If I had known that earlier I might have stalked it the way I do now. The strawberry lemonade at happy hour is sooooo right.
<------ I just discovered a new and delightful store for cool kids clothes. Crazy 8 has retail stores and an online shop much like Gymboree/The Children's Place, but less expensive. And everything ships for a $5 flat rate. Love it!- Modern Family. Last season this was in a competing time slot with Glee. And...well....Glee won out. But now Glee has moved days and that means this is the Summer to catch up on Season 1 of Modern Family and Matt and I are loving this quirky comedy. The gay dads are my favorite.
- My serger. Yes, I have had it now for more than a year. And it has sat, patiently waiting, in it's original box while I overcame my intimidation of it. This weekend I busted it out and made a maternity skirt from an existing denim skirt and it was fabulous!
rediscoveries:
- Pandora online radio is back in my life, thanks to our new computer. And I couldn't be happier.
- The Summer Reading program at our local library has made me rediscover how much I adore children's picture books. We have two more to read aloud to the kids and then they get prizes from local businesses. Later in the Summer I will make a blog post dedicated to books we discovered this Summer that we fell in love with.
Have YOU discovered anything lately that you want to share?

ooh-haven't heard of Crazy 8-thanks for the heads up!
Wait, have I not told you about Crazy 8 before? Crazy 8 is to Gymboree what Old Navy is to Gap. Just cheaper clothes, but same company and super quality. I've been buying my kids clothes there for a year or two because 1) they're crazy cheap and 2) awesome quality--the t-shirts are sooo nice. Plus, it's the first store I've ever been in that the boys clothes are cuter than the girls. I got Isaac school clothes for this fall at the end of the season last year--3 pairs of pants and 7 shirts for like $30. No joke. And Zoe's 4th of July dress? $3. For real, dog. I stalk the Layton Hills store because of their awesome deals.
Emily,
I thought we were friends?
Now, to find out you've been hiding Crazy 8 from me?
For shame.
Discovery: http://www.values.com This is the website those billboards about courage and strength featuring shrek and Mr. Rogers, etc are from. Also has an awesome quote page.
Rediscovery: my love for Dan Brown books and playing the piano.
I never knew about Crazy 8 and it just made my little greedy-for-cute-clothes-for-my-progeny heart beat faster. awesome.
As for favorites that I must share, well from one pregnant lady in the summer to another, I think you must try Key Lime Gelato Squares by Ciao Bella. They will change your life. The only other life changer for me this summer has been crocs that don't look fugly like normal ones and encompass my huge feet. So basically, your list is way better.
