It's ALL about the cookies.

We had a wonderful Super Bowl Sunday!
We went to church (which was reduced by an hour due to the snow).

After church I worked on my FHE blog and then we made two treats. Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Bars and Dark Chocolate Cherry Cake. When the treats were ready to go we headed over to a friend's house to watch the big game. Everyone had brought amazing food, including this Pennsylvania cookie brought by Amber. The little heart is placed just where we live...how cute is she?

A few other couples and their kids were invited, but I think even the kids knew more about Football than I did! Our gracious hosts were kind enough to let it slide when I sat quietly in my chair and cut out felt pieces to complete this project I am working on. When the men would scream, sometimes I added my own screams just to mesh with the group.

But seriously I had a fantastic time. I loved visiting with our friends and getting to know them better. Maybe before next year I can learn some of the rules of the game.....or I could take some knitting.

I always knit during football. My friend Matt use to invite us over for sports cafe knitting circle. He couldn't fight us so he embraced it. Really it was just about hanging out with friends.
