On Friday...

We headed out at 9:00 AM to take Gma and Gpa to our favorite breakfast place.

Matt and his Dad both tried Scrapple. Ick!

We made arrangements to pick up our new (used) car tomorrow!

Got the grocery shopping done for the next two weeks.

I found out there is such a thing as Black Walnut Extract.

I put a double batch of turkey and black bean chili into our crock pot for tonight's Church chili cook-off and Talent Show.

Now Matt and I are practicing our musical number for said Talent show.

And at some point I probably should shower.

Just checked out the wikipedia scrapple definition and: NASTY. Go me for never trying it when my Grandma cooked it.

Ladies scrapple is delish. Don't dis it until you have tried it fried with syrup. Yummy.

i don't care what anyone says - scrapple rocks! but it has to be sliced super thin and crispy with just a little mush in the middle. and you have to eat it w/ketchup - yum! :) and yes, i have an inkling of what's in it - and no, i don't care.
