If at first you don't succeed...

you crochet a wonky flower.

Not good.
Amazingly, it even looks better in this photo than in real life.
It's seriously sad.

I used to be able to crochet when I was a teen and just picked up the needle again. I'm having difficulties too, so you're not alone! Hang in there!

I think it is adorable and it is much better than I could do!

I think it's actually pretty good. When things look too perfect, they don't really look right!

I like it!

And yet (not surprisingly) it still looks a hundred times better than ANYTHING I've ever tried to crochet. Keep at it...the Crafty Minx shall not be foiled by yarn such as this.

Oh...and I like the color, too.

Hey, way better than my first crochet attempt. Like anything, takes practice - practice with tension, all that stuff. And hey, it's really easy to pull out and start again! (Though I think you should keep this one for posterity - it's charming. :) )

nicely done! I want to learn how to crochet so bad. My mom has tried and tried to teach me, but I'm double jointed so I hold the hook funny and she just gets frustrated :)
