cleaning the house
eating more healthily
finishing half-finished projects
exercising
keeping up on the dishes
sewing Eva's Halloween costume
reconnecting with my neglected friends
reading from my book list
yelling less at Ella
having more alone time with my hubby
organizing better
snuggling with Eva while I still can
taking time each day to fill my spiritual needs
praying more often
wearing make-up on a regular basis
reaching out to those who are lonely
building my food storage
watching the dvd's that are due back next week
making more home-cooked meals
playing my banjo
arranging upcoming playgroups
So many things I could be doing better. So many areas to improve. How do you balance your life and make it what it should be with only 24 hours in a day? I am trying each day to make it all fit in. Some days I do a lot and some days I watch a Project Runway marathon and forget about it all. Maybe life is a process of figuring it all out. Prioritizing. Multi-tasking. Accomplishing.
Hoping to balance better in the coming months. This is going to be my new goal. Balance.

When I feel this, it's good and bad. Bad because it's overwhelming. But good because it's a chance to renew and reevaluate what I want to do now. Kudos.
I read on to your next post...let me guess...your front door is one of those half-finished projects...
Give yourself a break! Take the kids somewhere fun for a day...they're priority numero uno. Clean up a little and watch one of your movies that night.
Next day, finish your door project...no matter what condition your house is in...better yet, call a friend to see if she can watch your kids for a few hours so you can really get stuff done. Tell her that you'll return the favor next week.
Okay...so you still have a bajillion (read: 15) things left of your list, but at least you've done a few things. :)
I think you stole my "to do" list. ;o) Hey, look on the bright side...you got rid of the chip clip!! :o)
